Day #8

Today was the first day of school! Don’t worry…I got a picture, not your typical first day of school picture, but nonetheless a picture. I had class from 8-10, which was great. It was Spanish class, and today it was really easy. After class, Sarah, Mary, and I went to the bus station and caught the bus to Puerto Plata. The bus was a charter bus, which costs $130 RD (a little under $4 USD). The ride was almost exactly an hour to get there. The beach was only a few blocks from the bus station, which was convenient. We hung out on the beach all afternoon, and then took the last bus back to Santiago at 6:30. I just got home and am going to bed. I have 8am class again tomorrow.
