Last weekend

Communication School application and essay status: complete. I sent it in, awaiting response by the last week of February. This is really, really important, so keep your fingers crossed. I feel confident about my essay, and I was please with the quality of it when I sent it in. Nothing else I can do now.
After writing the essay, reviewing it with my program director, Lynne, and sending it in, I went to sign up at the gym. Very different from the States, but a funny experience. Apparently, it is in the fees to get a trainer. I didn’t know why he kept following me around and saying stuff to me. haha. I eventually told him in a nice way, to leave me alone. Friday night, I celebrated getting a volunteer job and finishing my application. We went to the club attached to the Casino with our Dominican and Haitian friends. It was a fun night of dancing.
Saturday, we went out with my neighbor, Fernando. The club was fun, and as always, partially outdoors. We ended up leaving early because of the rain.
Sunday, I met Fernando’s cousin and some other friends. It was a relaxing day. On and off raining all day. And as always, HOMEWORK. Also, Fernando lent me the movie, “RocknRolla.” It is a pretty good movie, you should all rent it. Back to school tomorrow.
